Celebrating a holiday with a furry family member makes the day more rememberable and ultimately more fun. So don't leave your pets out when celebrating St. Patrick's day! Here are a few activities that are dog friendly and safe for this rambunctious holiday!
Considering taking you dog to one of the many pet friendly restaurants around the Metro-Atlanta area! Lucky's Burger and Brew in Roswell is hosting their annual Go Bragh Bash on Saturday, March 16th, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The event features live music, drinks, beer, and food all night long! Not only do you get to spend quality time with all members of your family, social outings to new places are great mental stimulus for you pet.
Bring the whole family on down to Atlanta for their annual, pet friendly, St. Patrick's Day Parade! One of the oldest St. Patrick's Day Parade not only in the south but in the country, Atlanta's St. Patrick's Day Parade started in 1858 and continues the tradition to this day. On a day when 'everybody is Irish' the parade is a highly focused family event making it a great family outing for everyone! Due to the large number of crowds, make sure you pooch is on his best behavior and isn't afraid of loud noises!
If your up for a drive, head on over to Dublin, GA for their pet friendly St. Patrick's Festival! Running from February 16th to March 31th and open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, the festival hosts special events every day it runs and while the festival is free admission, certain event do require a small entry fee. Events range from "a BBQ Championship, food festival, parade, leprechaun contest, road race, arts and crafts festival and much more." Thinking about running a 5k? We got you covered! The 15th annual Shamrock 'N Roll Road Race is scheduled for Saturday March 16th at Atlantic Station in Midtown and will have events for adults, kids, and yes, even dogs! Having a party at the house and want Fido to feel included? Check out some non-alcoholic dog beer for you furry family member!
