Welcome to Episode 91!
Happy New Year from all of us at GVA!
Our Word of the Week is Compound Fracture: An open fracture, also called a compound fracture, is a fracture in which there is an open wound or break in the skin near the site of the broken bone. Most often, this wound is caused by a fragment of bone breaking through the skin at the moment of the injury.
Well briefly talk about a new FDA recall on Sportmix brand dog food and talk more about last year's Grain-Free recall.
We'll also talk about the Maremmano-Abruzzese Sheepdog and how they are being used to protect bandicoots from foxes.
Lastly, we'll talk about some clinic news as well welcome back Heather from having her baby as well as welcome a new staffer at Hamilton Ridge, who happens to be our first hire of 2021!
Do you have a medical condition you'd like Dr. Miller and Angel to talk about? Let us know! Email us at [email protected] or message us on Instagram or Facebook!
